Snapshot Management
Snapshots create a point-in-time backup of your VPS.
They allow you to restore the VPS to a previous state if something goes wrong.
Creating a Snapshot
Click:
Create New Snapshot
The snapshot request will be submitted to our Data Center.
Depending on disk size, creation may take several minutes.
⚠ Important: Do NOT close your browser while the request is being submitted.
Viewing Existing Snapshots
The Snapshot Management section displays:
- Snapshot ID
- Snapshot Name
- Creation Date
- Auto Delete Date
Restoring a Snapshot
To restore:
- Click
Restore
- Confirm the warning.
⚠ Important: Restoring replaces your current VPS disk with the selected snapshot. Any changes made after that snapshot was created will be lost. Only restore if you’re certain.
Deleting a Snapshot
Old snapshots consume storage resources.
To remove one:
- Click
Delete
- Confirm deletion.
Deleted snapshots cannot be recovered.
Best Practices
We recommend:
- Create a snapshot before major updates.
- Create a snapshot before installing new software.
- Create a snapshot before changing firewall rules.
- Create a snapshot before upgrading your control panel.
- Delete old snapshots you no longer require.
Important Billing Information
If your VPS service becomes Overdue, our automated system may:
- The VPS will be suspended and VPS will be queued-up for deletion.
- VPS management controls will also be disabled until payment is received on / before deletion.
Once payment is received (or the invoice is no longer overdue), service management controls are automatically restored.
